LSSC Board Roles
The Manager represents the Club at the Capital Valley Youth Soccer League (CVYSL) meetings, chairs all meetings of the Board, conducts all LSSC business according to policy set by the Board, and directs the elected officers.
The Assistant Manager presides over Board meetings in the absence of the Manager and assists the Manager as needed in the operation of the Club.
The Secretary takes minutes of all meetings and distributes these to all Board members, gives notice of meetings, and maintains the files of the Club.
The Treasurer is responsible for maintaining the Club’s financial records and providing required financial information to the CVYSL Treasurer.
The Registrar is responsible for notification of signups, conducting signups, and processing the registration forms and paperwork. The Registrar works closely with the CVYSL Registrar.
The Assistant Registrar assists the Registrar as needed in the registration process of the Club.
The Coaching Coordinator is responsible for the recruiting and training of all registered coaches and is the liaison between the Club’s registered coaches, the Board, and the League Coaching Coordinator. The Coaching Coordinator also helps with team formations, team seeding and ensures that teams have enough equipment.
The Field Coordinator is responsible for helping to secure, maintain, and improve the playing fields as needed. The Field Coordinator also coordinates the scheduling of fields for practices and games, and is responsible for coordinating of the lining of the fields on game day
The Uniform Coordinator is responsible for the selection, ordering, and distribution of team uniforms.
Team Parent Coordinator
The Team Parent Coordinator is the liaison between the team parents and the Board, selects and order trophies for the teams, selects photographers and arranges the team picture day.
Spirit Wear Coordinator
The Spirit Wear Coordinator is responsible for the selection, ordering, and sales of Club Spirit Wear
Website/Social Media Coordinator
The Website/Social Media Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and updating the Club website, assisting with other forms of social media, and sending out group emails.
The Event Coordinator coordinates fundraising events to raise additional funds for the Club as well as coordinating events to promote the Club.
